Daniel Schaffers started at the Steigenberger Hotel Academy in Bad Reichenhall before then being trained as a chef at the “Traube Tonbach” hotel. After completing his training, he worked in Aachen, Zürich, Los Angeles, Cologne, Dresden (Asst. Food & Beverage Manager in the Kempinski Hotel) and Brighton (Senior Event Manager in the Grand Hotel).
Daniel und Michaela Schaffers were married in 2008. They got to know one another in Leipzig. Michaela was born in Leipzig and gained front-of-house experience working for the international hotel chains Dorint, Marriott, Kempinski and Hilton. Together, they subsequently decided to work for periods in Dresden and Brighton and then, a few years later, took up the challenge of continuing to run the successful family business.
